The symbol

The golden wheel with eight spokes, one of the eight auspicious symbols, is the wheel of the Dharma that the Buddha set turning with his first teaching. It stands for steady progress along a path with a clear order.

The two throws

The Golden Wheel comes up when the first throw of the die shows DHI (wisdom) and the second shows NA (earth).

དྷཱི
First: DHI · Wisdom

DHI is the seed syllable of Manjushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom. It stands for clear understanding, intelligence and blessing, and it turns almost any throw toward a good outcome.

ན
Second: NA · Earth

NA is the syllable of earth. It stands for what is solid and lasting: land, home, property, the body and slow, steady increase.
