A medicine as sweet and potent as nectar
Medicine like nectar: the right remedy is at hand. Healing of body, mind and relationships. Problems that seemed stubborn now respond to treatment.
Take the remedy that is offered.
Recite the mantra of the Medicine Buddha.
Tibetan medicine, Sowa Rigpa, is closely tied to the Medicine Buddha, who holds a bowl of nectar and a healing plant. Medicine that is like nectar both cures and nourishes, so the sign speaks of healing that leaves things better than before.
The Nectar-like Medicine comes up when the first throw of the die shows PA (water) and the second shows DHI (wisdom).
PA is the syllable of water. It soothes, nourishes and heals, and it carries feeling and enjoyment. Disturbed, water turns murky; dried up, it leaves nothing behind.
DHI is the seed syllable of Manjushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom. It stands for clear understanding, intelligence and blessing, and it turns almost any throw toward a good outcome.
