A golden lotus rising from the mud
A golden lotus rises from the mud: beauty and success grow out of ordinary, even difficult, conditions. Growth is steady and natural. Keep your intentions clean.
Let your difficulties be the soil you grow in.
Offer flowers and keep your motivation pure.
The lotus, another of the eight auspicious symbols, grows from mud and blooms clean above the water. It stands for purity of mind arising out of ordinary life. A golden lotus adds wealth and lasting value to that purity.
The Golden Lotus comes up when the first throw of the die shows PA (water) and the second shows NA (earth).
PA is the syllable of water. It soothes, nourishes and heals, and it carries feeling and enjoyment. Disturbed, water turns murky; dried up, it leaves nothing behind.
NA is the syllable of earth. It stands for what is solid and lasting: land, home, property, the body and slow, steady increase.
