Divination 14 of 36 · PA RA Difficult
A pool with no spring to fill it
A pool with no spring to fill it: resources are being used up and nothing replaces them. Support fades, and what looks full will not last. Find the source before you spend any more.
Stop the drain and look for the spring.
Offer water, make offerings to the water spirits, and cut waste.
A pool fed by no spring is a picture of any resource that is being spent and not renewed. It may look full for a while, but it can only go down. The remedy is to find a source, not to stretch what is left.
The Pool Without a Source of Water comes up when the first throw of the die shows PA (water) and the second shows RA (fire).
PA is the syllable of water. It soothes, nourishes and heals, and it carries feeling and enjoyment. Disturbed, water turns murky; dried up, it leaves nothing behind.
RA is the syllable of fire. It brings energy, warmth, light and the power to make things happen, and with them the risks of fire: haste, anger and burning out.
