The symbol

A vessel full of jewels, close to the treasure vase of the eight auspicious symbols, is a picture of wealth that keeps giving. In Tibetan practice, such vases are filled with precious things and buried or kept to draw prosperity to a place.

The two throws

The Overflowing Jeweled Vessel comes up when the first throw of the die shows NA (earth) and the second shows PA (water).

ན
First: NA · Earth

NA is the syllable of earth. It stands for what is solid and lasting: land, home, property, the body and slow, steady increase.

པ
Second: PA · Water

PA is the syllable of water. It soothes, nourishes and heals, and it carries feeling and enjoyment. Disturbed, water turns murky; dried up, it leaves nothing behind.
