The symbol
Gold is the color of the earth element in many Tibetan teachings, and the golden ground is the firm base on which a mandala is built. Nothing is raised on it yet; what it offers is a foundation that will not give way.

The Ground of Gold comes up when the first throw of the die shows A (space) and the second shows NA (earth).
