Let's fetch your user info, repositories, followers, stars, and forks
using
the GitHub
GraphQL
or
REST
API.
Enter your GitHub user name and a
personal access token
(classic token with the public_repo scope). Since July 2026 GitHub
only shows who starred a repo to its owner and collaborators, and a token
with no scopes gets an empty list of stargazers.
Click Fetch data. Progress shows on the right, and your fans
appear below as they are found.
When it's done, click View graph to see your graph right away,
or Download to keep your data as a file.
Good to know
Privacy: everything runs in your browser. Your token is sent
only to GitHub, never to any other server.
Remembered values: your user name and API choice are kept in
this browser. The token is cleared when you close the tab, unless you
check "Remember token on this device".
GraphQL or REST: GraphQL (recommended) needs far fewer
requests, about 200 for an account with 2,000 fans. REST needs one
more request per fan, so it is slower and uses more of your hourly
limit (5,000 requests).
What is fetched: your profile, your original repositories
(forks are skipped), your followers, and the users who starred or
forked your repositories.
View graph: your data is saved in this browser and the graph
opens as index.html?data=mine. Bookmark that link to come
back without fetching again. Use Download to use your data in
another browser, or to make it the default graph.
